The earth and the environment : 4 day course

Discussion and study information on rocks and minerals for days 1-2. For days 3-4, study and discuss classifying rocks as igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic will be done. Students are welcome to have a cellular device or tablet available to participate in a trivia game called Kahoot, where we will put our knowledge of studies to a timed test matched with fun! The winner will be recognized with a certificate and shared their name on our website and social media.

Master your essay writing skills: 3 day workshop

Discussion and study information on proofreading a rough draft and paragraph basics for days 1-2. For days 3-4, the focus will be on brainstorming ideas and using citation tools for an essay topic. Students will be required to have access to Google Docs for submission of a short essay based on the essay topic provided (Example essay Topic: What are your thoughts on homeschool education versus public education?).
